Daayan the &TV show produced by Balaji Telefilms has seen the interesting entry that of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame actor Anupama Solanki.
Anupama has been roped in to play the role of Vaitilini, the Goddess of devils.
Anupama who has till now played the soft and positive roles has been working really hard for this prominent negative character.
She states, “This is the negative lead character of the show and hence is a strong and challenging role to portray. My character name is Vaitilini. It is more challenging for me because it is totally different from any other role I have done so far. I am excited to be playing this character as this is a new experience for me and hence will be a great learning experience.”
“A negative role with so much power was totally different and out of my comfort zone. It is a wonderful experience to be playing this part. The uniqueness and the character encouraged me to take up this show. As this role was totally new for me, I took it as a challenge to explore my Acting and most important this character has inspired by Hollywood,” she adds.
The lady has hoarse voice in Daayan which needed a lot of practice. “This character demanded a hoarse voice, so I had to practice for that as well. When I saw my look for the show it helped me relate to the character and the voice. It is fun playing a negative character; I hope audience also likes my character.”
