Hottie Karan Goddwani, who rose to fame with Diya Aur Baati Hum, Iss Pyar ko Kya Naam Doon, Odhani and Chhal-Seh aur Maat, is currently leaving audience spellbound with his acting chops in &TV’s Agnifera.
The actor feels it is a huge responsibility for an actor to take a show on his shoulder.
He says, “I was very fortunate as the makers selected me as the lead face of the series. I feel it’s a great sense of responsibility to be the protagonist of a show, especially post the leap. The show has been loved by the audience and I have received great response from the audience. It has been a fantastic journey so far.”
As Karan shoots with two female co-stars, he shares some fun experience. “The scenes come out really funny. The banter is between the two ladies; so the emotional scenes also turn out to be comedy. I remember one such sequence wherein I had to show my bare body and open the button of my shirt. I was bending towards Agni and soon Sakshi comes from behind. It was supposed to be a romantic scene but was really comedy. We all burst out laughing.”
Talking more about the bond with the co-stars, he says, “I share an amazing bond with both the co-stars Yukti and Simran. We all are of the same age; hence there is a good rapport. I am more experienced in terms of my career; so I sometimes share my experiences with them as well.”
On an ending note, he adds, “I have never thought to be doing a web-series. I definitely want to be on the 70 MM screen. However, right now, I am in a happy phase on TV. It is going good; so would love to stick here and explore more.”
