Talented actor Abhinav Kapoor is presently juggling between his two diverse roles in Colors’ Internet Wala Love and the upcoming ALTBalaji series, Dil Hi Toh Hai. He has been shooting non-stop for nearly 18-19 hours daily and is catching up on sleep for only few hours. However, work is what keeps him happy and he is delighted when he is kept super busy.
Says Abhinav, “My role in Dil Hi Toh Hai is very intense; he is the ideal husband, brother and friend. Whenever there is a problem he is the one who helps people to get out of it. In Internet Wala Love, my role is a total contrast. He is the one who is doing all the pranks and is putting others in problems. It is great fun on the set of Internet too, as working with Shivin Narang, Tunisha Sharma and Varun Badola Sir is so nice. They are very good co-stars to work with.”
Abhinav has been around in the industry for nearly 15 years and has a good body of work. “I need to put in lot of energy into my role in Internet Wala Love. It has a many shades which will get revealed in the near future. Also, I have recently had a body transformation, and I get a chance to show my body here (smiles). In Dil Hi Toh Hai, he is a well-dressed man; so there is no opportunity to show my body. However in the Colors show, he is a very flamboyant and a cool guy. He loves his body and never gives up on his work-out. And that is exactly what I am in real life.”
The best part about shooting for Internet Wala Love and Dil Hi Toh Hai is that both the shoots happen at the same place. “There is only a boundary wall that separates the two sets. Yes, I need to travel all the way to Naigaon for my shoot. However, I am blessed to at least have the two sets closeby. I shoot everyday for both the shows. In total, I am busy with my shoot and travel for 19 hours. Having said this, there is nothing to worry about. When God is blessing me with work, I feel happy. And this is the time to work hard. I enjoy my shoot so much that I do not feel the exhaustion. Yes, the body gives up sometimes, but the spirit of working hard is intact.”
Ask him about the huge expectations for Season 2 of Dil Hi Toh Hai and he is quick to say, “I will want to tell viewers that Season 2 will be even better than Season 1. It has been written so well that every character has a story to tell. The kids have also grown up, and they too will make their mark. Season 1 concentrated on the lead pair. Now the story is on all. Karan Kundra has lost weight and he looking stunning. I am sure viewers are eager to see him again.”
Abhinav has a great tuning with his cousin brother Karan Kundra, co-actors Yogita Bihani and Krishna Shetty. “All four of us are best of friends; we get along like a house on fire. It is not that I do not enjoy the company of others. All of us gel well, but we four of them have a great camaraderie.”
Abhinav says, “I am very thankful to God for keeping me busy. I hope this good run goes on.”
