Sehban Azim talks about his new show, Tujhse Hai Raabta produced by Sonali Jaffer’s Full House Media.

Handsome hunk, Sehban Azim’s charisma has made him a star amongst the girls. Continuing the streak, Sehban is currently seen in Zee TV’s new show Tujhse Hai Raabta produced by Full House Media. After his stint in Colors’ Bepannaah, the actor is playing the role of ACP Malhar Rane in the new venture.

Talking about his new project, he says, “This is my first show with Zee TV. I have worked with all the channels, so I wanted to associate with Zee as well. Also, it is being produced by Sonali Jaffer; she is one of the producers known to explore different subjects and come up with unique shows. Tujhse Hai Raabta has a very different concept. It is not a romantic drama. Eventually, it will have a romance angle, but currently, the show focuses on soul connection. I play a character that is important to both the main leads of the show. The character helps to fill the gap between their relationships.”

Sehban feels that he is similar to Malhar. “I related to the character Malhar, as there are a lot of similarities. Eventually, I will connect well with Anupriya. And in the same manner, I am close to my mother too. At my home too, I am the one who balances out things. Audiences will see a different Sehban in this show. I have played boyish characters so far; now they will see a gentleman Sehban. I have also gained 5kg for the show, to look mature.”

When asked about the turning point in his life, he avers, “I am grateful to this industry for everything. It has been a beautiful journey so far. I never expected so much love. I have grown and learnt throughout the journey. It was one of the biggest decisions and a turning point in my life, when I decided to leave a well-paid job for an acting career. I was making good money in my job, so it was a big risk to shift to Mumbai and work as an actor. I had no connections here. However, my family has been always supportive and helpful. Now, I have a lot of friends in the industry who are like my family. I have a soul connection with them.”

Way to go, Sehban!
