Talented actress Parvati Sehgal who was last seen in Dastaan – E- Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali has achieved success in all the genres that she has tried her hand at.
She has played the positive as well as negative roles with elan, and has also attempted comedy.
Parvati who was on a hiatus from acting owing to health reasons is now looking for a good comeback show that will again put to test her versataility as an actor.
Says Parvati, “I am looking for a substantial role. I want a strong role in any genre.”
The talented actress who was noticed early in her career in Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, has been part of shows Gustakh Dil, and has also won hearts with her stand-up comedy acts.
She will love it if she can pick up a role on the web platform. “I welcome roles on the web if they welcome me. I have never done web before; so it will be something new to try.”
However, Parvati Sehgal will not be comfortable doing the bold role as of now. “Vulgarity and sexual bold scenes are something that I am not open to as of now on the web. Having said this, if the project really demands it, I can look into it.”
“TV looks very glamorous from the outside, but the insides of it are really not as glamorous as it looks. I am saying this because it is not easy at all to sustain in this industry. Being in the groove of work is important as an actor. On screen, all actors look great and chilled out. But the efforts, hard work that the entire unit goes through is actually unimaginable,” she states as part of the learnings from the industry.
“I am the winner of Comedy Circus. I love doing negative roles. I have not got many positive roles but would love it if I get one,” she exclaims.
