While most reality shows award work to the winner after the end of the season, Sony TV’s Indian Idol constant Salman Ali has been spotted while he’s a part of the show and has already received his first break. Writer, director and producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary is having Salman sing the title track of his upcoming show Chandragupta Maurya which is a natural progression from the earlier story of Porus.
Siddharth is known to have an eye in spotting talent as he has given our industry some of the best faces and it comes to us as no surprise that he chose Salman to become the voice for his show. Chandragupta Maurya is all set to launch on the 14th of November on Sony and is already creating buzz as actors like Saurabh Raaj Jain, Kartikey Malviya, Tarun Khanna, etc will be seen in this historical show which already has a loyal audience with the mega-series Porus!
Salman Ali is already being touted as a voice to be reckoned with on Sony TV’s Indian Idol and its great seeing the channel integrating one show into another! That’s a rare on television, especially for a reality show which has the common man!
