Versatile actor Kanwar Dhillon who has essayed noteworthy roles in shows The Buddy Project, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2, Do Dil Ek Jaan, Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee will be seen in an episodic tale of &TV’s Laal Ishq.
For Kanwar who loves performance-oriented roles, this will be a challenge as he will play a Marathi street-smart chap by name Sangram. The love tale will of course have a supernatural twist.
Says Kanwar confirming the news to IWMBuzz.com, “I found the concept and story really interesting. I have been offered episodics of Laal Ishq before, and am glad that this one worked out. I hear positive response for the tales showcased in Laal Ishq.”
Talking about his character, Kanwar says, “The role is very different from what I have done so far. In fact, I play a Marathi gunda for the first time ever. And this look of mine is a never-seen-before avatar of mine. I can’t wait to see people’s reactions.”
The female lead in this story will be played by Yashashri Masurkar who will play the role of a doctor.
The episodic tale is being produced by Sachin Mohite’s Jaaswand Entertainments.
