Colors seems to be on a roll with respect to ending long-running shows.
The first show to be chopped off its run was Rashmi Sharma’s Roop Mard Ka Naya Swaroop. Then the long-running shows Udaan and Ishq Mein Marjawan were given the closure letter (We at IWMBuzz.com wrote about both the shows closing).
And now it is time for Kesari Nandan the Contiloe Entertainment show to be given the shout out for closure!!
Yes, you heard it right!!
As per a reliable source, “Kesari Nandan will end on 12 July. The production house has been notified of the same.”
Kesari Nandan which was a Dangal adaptation on the small screen has not been able to shake up the ratings chart with its numbers.
The show stars Manav Gohil, Aastha Chaudhary, Chahat Tewani in lead roles.
The channel earlier had plans to take a leap in story for Kesari Nandan. However, with the ratings not going up, the leap has been cancelled and the show will end at the same phase wherein Kesari is still a child.
We buzzed few actors of Kesari Nandan but did not get revert.
We pinged Producer Abhimanyu Singh and the channel spokesperson but did not get revert.
Colors has already launched the Balaji Telefilms show Bepanah Pyaarr. They have three shows Choti Sardarni (Cockrow Pictures and Shaika Films), Bahu Begum (Prateek Sharma’s LSD Films) and Luv Kush (Swastik Pictures) in ther lineup for launch.
