Sheetal Pandya popular for her role in Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji has got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, who is presently a Corona Warrior in London!!
Sheetal’s would-be is a doctor in a London Hospital which hosts nearly 250 COVID patients right now.
Dr Abhishek Bhattacharya and Sheetal have been school mates who have waited so long to get officially engaged.
Sheetal was to travel to the USA for the engagement, and it was to happen in Westin, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to get engaged in their respective homes.
Yes, the engagement happened through a Zoom meeting call between two families and of course the boy and the girl. The two of them got engaged on the pre-set date of 3 May.
Says Sheetal, “I dressed up as a Bong, and got engaged through the Zoom call. It was different but a memorable one. It was fun to get dressed up for the engagement that happened via a call.”
“Considering the situation that the whole world is in, we are surely living in testing times. I am being paranoid and getting tense on even going out. But I am extremely proud of my partner who is fighting the COVID war as his hospital has more than 250 cases. I am immensely proud of him.”
