Actress Veena Mehta who essayed the matriarch’s role in Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhaniya on Sony TV will soon be back on the TV screens!!
The talented veteran actor who is presently shooting for her big screen stint in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming saga Padmavati, has been roped in to play a crucial role in Producer Ashvini Yardi’s upcoming show (Vinyard Films) on Star Bharat.
As reported exclusively by IndianWikiMedia.com, actors Reyaansh Vir Chdha and Jigyasa Singh will play the leads in this yet untitled show. Seasoned actor Vaquar Shaikh has been finalized for the father’s role.
We now get to know that Veena Mehta will be playing Vaquar’s mother and Reyaansh’s grand mother. Her character will add an interesting dimension to the show.

We buzzed Producer Ashvini Yardi, but could not get through to her.
As for Veena, she has done shows Navya, Kaali – Ek Punar Avatar, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins.
