A day to celebrate womanhood, International Women’s Day falls on 8 March every year. Every woman plays a crucial role in shaping the society and today is a day when the entire world joins hands to pay homage to the lovely women across the globe.
On this wonderful day women across the globe are felicitated and told how important they are and how their elegance is the beauty that lights up the society.
Television’s most loved couple Sameer and Naina aka Randeep Rai and Ashi Singh from Sony TV’s show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai tell us about the special woman in their lives and spread a strong message.
Ashi Singh says, “This women’s day I feel the change I want to see is the decrease in number of atrocities against women and more of women adding value to this ever-changing world. I believe in women empowerment and I’d like to spread this message as much as possible. Happy Women’s Day.”
On the other hand, Randeep Rai shares, “My mom has always been an important part of my life and that has made me care about and support the women I come across. This women’s Day I’d like to take an opportunity to spread the message of women empowerment and see a smile on every women’s face rather than facing societal issues.”
