Tonight’s episode of the biggest game reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 on Sony Entertainment Television will see noted lawyer and activist Afroz Shah on the Hot Seat for the special Friday episode ‘Nai Chah Nai Rah’ to raise awareness and pledge support to cleanliness drive at Juhu and Versova beach.
Afroz Shah has been the brainchild of Versova Beach Clean Up initiative and has been an inspiration to many. His efforts have been recognized globally wherein The United Nations conferred him with the title of ‘Champion of the Earth’. After receiving an overwhelming response, he now intends to clean up 19 beaches across the city. With two years into this initiative with over 100 volunteers and BMC members supporting him, Afroz has successfully disposed-off garbage and plastic close of 7000 tonnes.
To support him and his cause, Shilpa Shetty Kundra will be joining him and together both of them will play to win the highest amount on the show. Taking inspiration from Afroz, Shilpa Shetty Kundra; every Tuesday with members from her wellness center IOSIS have taken up the initiative to clean up Juhu beach.
