Eminent television personality Saurabh Tewari has formally joined Bhartiya Janta Party today on 3rd March in a function organised in Mumbai. Saurabh joined the party in the presence of BJP’s Mumbai president Ashish Shelar and Vice President Poonam Dhillon and party spokesperson Tuhin Sinha.
Saurabh a successful television producer has earned numerous accolades through his career spanning 20 years. He was heading content for television channels like Viacom 18 – Colors, Imagine and has produced path-breaking content through successful television shows like Madhubala, Mahek, Rangrasiya and many others.
On joining BJP, Saurabh said “I feel immensely honored and privileged to join Bhartiya Janta Party. It’s high time that individuals from all the sections of the society come forward and actively contribute and participate in the mainstream politics and help shaping up the nation. My grand father Late T. N Bajpai was a well known Railway Trade Union leader so there was always an inclination to join the politics and serve the nation.”
Ashish Shelar, BJP Mumbai President on welcoming Saurabh to the party said, “We are delighted to have Saurabh in the party. I am confident his efforts will expand BJP’s outreach among intellectuals and entertainment industry professionals in the run up to the elections.”
Tuhin Sinha, speaking on the occasion said, “I have known Saurabh for many years. His dedication and political understanding will be assets for the party.”
