Television actress Sangeita Chauhaan known for shows like Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan and Piya Albela turned show stopper for a catalog shoot in Yerewan -Armenia. Sangeita went to Armenia recently as a celeb show stopper for Triveni Sarees catalog that featured international models.
Sangeita shot at various scenic locations of Garni Temple, Cathedral of Zvartnots and the Cascade Complex in the capital city of Yerevan. Sangeita posed with Russian and Ukrainian models for the special festive collection of Triveni sarees. Among the various sarees that she wore the most interesting one was the infinity Gerua saree like Kajol in ‘Dilwale’.
Along with the shoot Sangeita also explored the scenic locations of Armenia. She explored the Gregard monastery and lake Sevanavank. Sangeita also tasted the local food of Armenia and was bowled by the vegetarian range of food available in Armenia. She also happened to meet Deputy Cultural minister of Armenia Mr.Tigran Galstyan who specially invited Sangeita as her show is very popular in Armenia.
The actress loved the friendly nature of Armenian people and also explored the churches, cathedrals and the shopping malls. Armenia boasts of a rich culture that most people are not aware of and the Eurasian county that was part of Russia few years back is a fun place to explore.
Since Indian shows are been dubbed in Armenian language Sangeita also many fans watched her show ‘Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan’ in Armenian language. She also happened to have visited an Indian family living in Armenia who were a big fan of her TV serials. So it was fun tour for Sangeita in Armenia and she had fun shooting there.
“I felt like a movie star. The locals halted to see a girl in sari singing and dancing to ‘Gerua’ song. We shot at some amazing locations in Armenia. We recreated the Kajol moment from her song ‘Gerua’ from ‘Dilwale & Kabhie Khushi Gham song Sooraj Hua Madham in Armenia”.
Triveni Sarees is known for their Indian and ethnic collections and the reason for choosing Sangieta was her Indian beauty and charm in a foreign location along with foreign models.

The making of Triveni catalogue shoot in Armenia with Sangeita Chauhaan & other international models will air as a special series from 4 August every week on Aajtak only on Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan the most watched entertainment show on a news channel for last 10 years. While it will stream on IWMBUZZ as a special feature as well.
