Shweta Basu Prasad is happy on turning a columnist with Indian Express and expects people to share their feedback.

Shweta Basu Prasad, the elegant Nandni in Star Plus’ Chandra Nandni indeed has a good flair when it comes to writing.

The talented actress is also a columnist with Indian Express, under the title Shweta Basu Prasad’s Digital Playlist wherein she will be recommending web series, documentary, or a film from Netflix or Amazon Prime. She will also pen down poems and short stories in her column.

“I enjoy the process of writing a lot. I love to write on a piece of paper with a pencil rather than type the whole thing out. I am passionate about literature and read a lot. This is something that encouraged me during my growing up days to test my writing skills. I have a natural flair for writing; it has improved with time. Having said this, I need to work a lot and I will say that I am still improving. All said and done, I have a long way to go. But this is a good beginning for sure,” said Shweta to Indianwikimedia.com

Shweta who is a graduate in mass communication and journalism, earlier worked at Phantom Films under Anurag Kashyap as a script consultant. But the talented girl has no plans of writing for TV and films. “I have not set any personal goals with respect to my writing. I am really happy being a columnist with Indian Express. I hope people read my column and pass on their response and feedback.”

May you do well in your new endeavour, Shweta!!
