It seems Namish Taneja is accident prone. During ‘Swaragini’ days he injured his right hand because of a nasty fall. Later he got trapped inside his car after it caught fire and while he was doing ‘Ikyawann’, a huge kino light fell on the seat where he was about to sit. Now he again had a narrow escape on the sets of ‘Main Maike Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo’.
Namish was shooting for a sequence, where goons push Satya Devi’s (Neelu Vaghela) wheelchair in front of the truck and Samar (Namish Taneja) come for her rescue. While shooting one the assistant directors was supposed to push the wheelchair. Later Namish did it since the AD was coming into the frame.
The truck driver lost the balance and couldn’t control the speed. Fortunately, Namish realized this and saved himself and Neelu in the nick of time.
When contacted Namish said, “It was a narrow squeak for both of us. While I was shocked, Neelu ji was shivering after this incident. I kept hugging her till we both got normal.I am extremely grateful to the God that we hadn’t suffered a single scratch.”
