After ruling reality television and winning audiences over with melodious renditions and dhamakedaar performances by some phenomenally talented kid singers from across the country, Zee TV’s singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is back. With the core proposition of this season being ‘Music Se Bhadege Hum’, the kids are back to blaze your screens with their undeniable talent, their relentless energy, their verve and undying spirit to learn and grow with music.
The viewers’ weekends just got more melodious as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 7 is all set to premiere this weekend on Saturday, 9th February at 9 pm and will see many aspiring Li’l Champs singing their way into the audience’s hearts under the watchful eyes of judges– Shaan, Richa Sharma and Amaal Mallik. While there were many contestants who floored the judges during the auditions but one such contestant, a little wonder Assam, Luna Devi left the judges stumped with her melodious voice.
Luna Devi, a 10-year-old kid from Golpara, Assam mesmerised the judges and jury members with her stunning performance to her idol Lata Mangeshkar’s popular song Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh. The judges were so impressed by her performance that they gave her a standing ovation and immediately handed her the silver medal giving her a ticket into the top 16 of the show. Overwhelmed by this gesture the sweet little singer tightly hugged her lucky charm, a picture of Lata Ji which she always carries with her as a symbol of respect and adoration. Luna’s stupendous singing earned her the title of Choti Lata ji from judge Richa Sharma.
Absolutely thrilled by Luna’s performance, Richa said, “You sang fabulously and there are no two ways about the fact that you are the chhoti Lata ji. Your voice is absolutely beautiful, and we were all awestruck by your golden voice.”
This week’s audition episodes of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs will witness a bunch of talented young singers showcasing their singing prowess and impressing the judges and the audience alike.
