Ever since the time they started in 2009 till now, there’s never been a single dull moment with these actors around and the best part of the show is that the success and TRP is not just dependent on any one character.
Talking about funny characters in the show, Patrakar Popatlal from ‘Toofan Express’ is undoubtedly extremely popular and everyone is well aware how desperate he is to get married for many years.
It is this desperation that has resulted in some hilarious scenes and sequences in the show over the years.

Popatlal’s most Hilarious Moments:-
1. Bhide and Popatlal had an argument about keeping a broken umbrella at the gate. Popatlal was upset with Bhide for throwing the umbrella away, as it had helped him during difficult times. Suddenly, it started raining and Bhide had to use the broken umbrella helplessly. Popatlal pointed out that the umbrella had only helped him in this situation.
2. When Poptalal arrives at Champaklal’s house, Babuji stops him at the door upon seeing his wet umbrella and instructs him to leave it outside. Poptalal responds by telling his umbrella that it’s not their house.
3. Bhide and Iyers were riding their bikes when they accidentally came across Poptalal who was standing in front of them. Poptalal claimed that Bhide was about to kick him, but Iyer apologized on behalf of Bhide. However, Poptalal didn’t understand why Iyer was apologizing when Bhide was the one riding the bike. Poptalal forced Bhide to apologize and when Bhide said sorry, Poptalal was not satisfied and asked him to go to the bank and update his passbook as punishment.
4. When Popatlal goes to get a number plate for Bhide’s scooter, he witnesses a manager scolding his female assistant. The Popatlal tells the assistant that she should not remain silent and must raise her voice. He also advises her to choose the right person when she gets married. However, the assistant informs the manager that it is her husband.
