The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kinjal telling Anupamaa that she is great but that doesn’t mean all bahus should be like her. Baa asks Kinjal why is she comparing herself to Anupamaa. Kinjal says this is what happens and leaves. Anupamaa looks hurt, Baa tells her she was just correcting Kinjal. Baa feels sad after looking at Anupamaa’s condition. Kavya calls Rakhi and tells her that Kinjal gave a befitting reply to Anupamaa and Baa. Rakhi gets happy and asks what happened. Kavya provokes Rakhi against Anupamaa saying she is making Kinjal work like a maid while she goes to take care of her mother. She says Baa doesn’t agree to keep a maid but keep ordering Kinjal to work. Rakhi gets angry.
Anupamaa cries remembering Kinjal’s words. Bapuji tells her it’s not her fault but Baa’s fault. Anupamaa says she failed to keep her promise of not turning Kinjal into Anupamaa. Anupamaa says it her fault that all workload is on Kinjal. Bapuji scolds Baa to keep her calm and not keep shouting at people. Baa says she was trying to explain Kinjal. She says even her grandmother-in-law would shout at her like this. Bapuji tells her that times have changed and now women have to work outside as well. He tells Baa to not increase Kinjal’s pressure if she can’t reduce it.
Toshu asks Kinjal if she fought with Mummy and Baa. Kinjal narrates to him the whole story of how Baa would taunt her. Toshu says that Baa got the same treatment from her mother in law so she is continuing the same. Kinjal tells him that these things can be changed. Toshu and Kinjal fight over this. Anupamaa comes to talk to Kinjal, she hears them fighting. Kavya comes there and tells her that this floor belongs to her and Vanraj, so Anupamaa leaves. Kavya thinks about what will Aupamaa do when the relationship she boasts about breaks.
During Dinner, Rakhi comes and yells at Anupamaa says she broke her promise to treat Kinjal as her daughter. She says all of her promises were fake as she has turned Kinjal into a maid. Rakhi says she raised her daughter like a princess but here they have made her like a maid. Vanraj tells her it’s not true. Rakhi says Kinjal loves them, that’s why she stays with them, otherwise she can buy six houses like this for her daughter. Bapuji tells her this is their house and not the market that she is shouting. Rakhi says she can send all to jail including Bapuji. Anupamaa warns Rakhi to not misbehave with Bapuji.
