The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya sitting in Anuj’s office, Anuj warns Kavya that he will give her the job only on one condition and that is her husband Vanraj should not interfere in her work. Kavya promises Anuj that her husband would not be a problem as she wants this job very desperately. Kavya gets the job and Anuj asks Kavya to thank Anupamaa as she got the job because of Anupama. Kavya thanks Anupamaa to which Anupamaa replies that there is no need to thank me. You should thank Anuj that he offered you the job. Anupama explains to Kavya the responsibility she is going to get due to this job. Anupamaa requests Kavya to not leave the job in between as it is very important for the other ladies to continue with the project.
On the other hand, at home Baa sees Anupamaa’s daughter preparing cake in the kitchen to which she asks her why she is preparing cake to which she replies that she has topped the exam in school. Baa becomes happy and helps Anupamaa’s daughter prepare the cake. Kavya returns home, Nandini is stressed and Sammar slipped his leg while practising and she has a doubt that it wasn’t an accident but someone did it intentionally. Anupamaa and Kavya return home and Anupamaa’s daughter gives her the good news of her topping the exam. Everyone seems Happy and cuts the cake. Devika is not so happy with the decision of Anuj By allowing Kavya to work in his company as Devika knows the fact that Kavya is not a good person and she will create problems in the company, to which Anuj replies that he loves Anupamaa and he trusts her on whatever she does. Vanraj questions Kavya about where she was the whole day to which Kavya replies that she went to Anuj’s office for a job interview and that she got selected. Vanraj loses his temper and asks Kavya not to work in that company and that there was no need for her to ask Anupamaa to help as she is not a woman to trust.
