The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa telling Vanraj they should leave as they are late. Anupamaa and Vanraj start walking. Vanraj in his mind tells Anupamaa to stop but she doesn’t. Baa checks the time and says that at this time Anupamaa did grah-pravesh. Baa says that she thought God will do some magic but she has lost all hopes now. Vanraj and Anupamaa leave in a car. A couple on a bike comes and stops near their car. Vanraj and Anupamaa look at the couple and then drive away. Bapuji video calls Baa. He asks Baa she never liked Anumapaa and now when she is leaving she is crying for her. Baa tells him he liked Anupamaa so is he not feeling bad. Bapuji says they were lucky to have such a nice bahu for 25 years. He says he is sad but they can’t have everything. Bapuji tells Baa to be strong.
Anupamaa calls her lawyer and tells him that they are on their way. The lawyer tells her to be there on time and tell the judge they are here for divorce. Anupamaa tells Vanraj that she has never seen him drive so slow. He tells her she was not in a hurry either. Anupamaa tells him to drive fast and reminds him that they went to the temple together for the first time through this road. Vanraj says they are going through the same road but to end their relationship. Baa blames Kavya for the situation. She asks will she at least let Anupamaa meet them after she returns. Kavya says she is not a villain, she just wants her happiness. Baa tells her that she used to not like Anupamaa but now she is crying for her. No one can replace Anupamaa. She can marry Vanraj and come into their house but she has to work hard to make space for herself. After Anupamaa leaves the house everything will be destroyed, she will have to fix it. Kavya thinks that she will be able to manage. Baa comes back. Samar, Toshu and everyone stare at her. She says she just went to tell Kavya that it is not going to be easy taking Anupamaa’s place.
Kavya feels restless. Nandini tells her to eat something. Kavya says that she won’t be able to until the divorce is done. A bike comes close to Vanraj’s car. He takes a sharp turn and escapes. Vanraj tells Anupamaa that he wished the accident would have taken place. Anupamaa tells him to not cause an accident on purpose. Vanraj says that he is not a fool. Anupamaa says that he is, they start arguing. He tells Anupamaa if she was understanding enough she would have understood what he is trying to tell her the past few days. She says his way is wrong. If she is stubborn then he is khadus. Vanraj stops the car and they start arguing over it. A policeman comes and tells them that loves increases when people fight, but this is not their age to fight. He tells them to go home and do whatever they want. Vanraj drives away. Anupamaa and Vanraj start laughing that the police called them tota-maina (love birds). She says that people cry on their way to divorce but they are laughing. Vanraj says he is glad that they got to experience this moment in such a situation.
