The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Popatlal walking on the road. He says that today’s day was very tiring, he will catch an auto and reach home. Guddu (Popatlal’s secret informer) calls him and says that he got some important information. Guddu says he cannot say the information on the phone, if someone comes to know that he is spreading the information, then he will be killed. Guddu gives Popatlal an address and asks him to come there urgently. Popatlal calls Taarak and informs him that he will not be coming to the soda shop, as he has some important work.
Popatlal is on his way to meet Guddu. A man follows him. Popatlal worries. The person comes closer to Popatlal and asks him the time. Popatlal says it’s 11 pm and gets relieved. Popatlal then goes to meet Guddu. Guddu says he has very dangerous information if some will come to know that he has given the information to the press, then they will kill him. Popatlal asks about the information. Guddu says that the world is facing a crisis and some people are taking the advantage of it, by stealing the medicines and selling them in black. Guddu says that the medicine of Rs300 is sold for Rs3000. He also says that this smuggler is doing their business from a place which is outside Mumbai. Popatlal asks Guddu if he knows any name or address.
Guddu says after crossing Mumbai, there is a white bridge and beside the bridge, there is a hotel, a person name Michael be in that hotel and can lead Popatlal to the smugglers. Guddu says that Michael will not talk to Popatlal until he says a password and the password is ‘Cash Hai Tho Aish Hai’.
Popatlal calls his boss and informs him about it. Popatlal says he is going on a sting operation and will need a partner. Popatlal says Bharti Sharma is the best partner for the mission. Boss asks Popatlal to do whatever he can to expose the smuggler. Popatlal calls Bharti and informs her about the secret mission. Popatlal asks Bharti to gets a pen with a hidden camera, voice recorder, makeup to change their looks and fake ids. Popatlal says he will include Dr. Hati in their mission.
The next day, Popatlal tells Dr. Hati that his relative is not well and takes him to the hotel. Popatlal reaches the hotel where he finds Michael. They meet Bharti and explain Dr. Hati the plan. Dr. Hati says he is ready to help Popatlal.
