The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Popatlal saying that Dr. Hati smartly kept his pen in the washroom, so that they can find the pen and see the recorded video. Popatlal asks Bharti to check the video. Popatlal and Bharti see the video recording and realises that the smuggler asked his other man to drop Dr Hati at Mumbai Highway. Dr. Hati walks in the Highways and sees a phone booth. Dr. Hati calls Popatlal and informs him that he failed in his mission. Popatlal asks Dr. Hati if he is alright. Dr. Hati says he is perfectly fine. He says that the smuggler is very smart and he has doubt on Dr. Hati that someone is helping him, so they might try to find out who is it.
Popatlal says that he will stay alert. He asks Dr. Hati to return him and not inform anyone about their mission. Dr. Hati says he will inform everyone that he went to check a patient. Dr. Hati wishes good luck to Popatlal and asks him to gain victory in his mission. Popatlal things they need to find some different idea to expose the smuggler. Bharti suggests they have a boat ride so that they will get some fresh air and can think about a good idea. Popatlal agrees and leaves with Bharti for a boat ride.
A waiter comes to Popatlal and says their prayer worked and his mother is fine now. Popatlal asks if he got the medicines and injections. The waiter says he had to pay Rs 24,000 for an injection which cost Rs 800. He says that his 2 salaries have gone in just one injection and needs 3 more injections for his mother. The waiter thanks Popatlal and Bharti as their prays healed his mother.
Popatlal and Bharti go on the boat ride. Popatlal tells Bharti that Dr. Hati failed in his mission so now he has to call someone who is smarter and knows what to do in the right situation. Popatlal says Jethalal is a perfect man for their mission as he knows what to do in any situation. Bharti asks if Jethalal will agree to help them. Popatlal says Jethalal will always be ready to help, as he is helping our country.
Popatlal says they need to call Jethalal into the hotel, but cannot tell him about the mission on phone, so they have to call Jethalal for some different reason in the hotel, then they can meet him and explain everything about their mission.
