Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22 April episode begins with Puru (played by Rituraj Singh) pulling off an elaborate enactment in front of Naira and then Ila shows up to hug him with love.
She then begins to curse Naira for having insulted Puru. This is when all the family members slowly start to support Puru. Kartik (played by Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) are left wondering how their plan could have gone so miserably wrong!
The masquerade party starts again and all couples sing and dance together. Puru tried touching Naira inappropriately in the party. Kartik apologizes to Naira in the sweetest way and it is evident that he is feeling bad for not being able to do anything for his sister and wife.
Meanwhile, Mansi and Anmol get into an ugly spat. Puru overhears everything. Mansi reveals about her physical abuse to Anmol. Anmol refuses to believe her and holds her at mistake. Puru smiles and mocks away. Kartik, Naira, Anmol, and Mansi plan to expose Puru.
Mansi sends a message to Puru. She reveals that she is committing suicide and has left a note. Puru rushes towards Mansi’s room and starts searching for the note in Mansi’s room. Suddenly, Mansi wakes up. Mansi curses him for abusing her.
Puru threatens her to be quiet or else her wedding will suffer. Puru admits his crimes in front of Mansi. He says nobody can punish him because he is a man. Kartik and Naira show the video recording to Puru. Kartik rebukes him. Suhasini comes there and stops Kartik from exposing Puru.
Then Suhasini manages to take Puru mama away with her and Mansi ends up breaking into tears after seeing Suhasini just take him away.
