Today’s Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke 21 May 2019 begins with Abir recalling the times he spent with Mishty and while lost in thought he also recites a shayari. All of his musings are overheard by Mishty and Kunal. When Abir gets out of the car, Mishty intervenes and starts asking him about the mystery girl that has his thoughts occupied. But Abir refuses to answer her question and avoids her.
Meenakshi is going to reveal Naman’s pat secret to everyone which she says so to Paro. Paro tries to convince her to stop but to no avail.
Mishty’s article in the newspaper catches her neighbors’ attention and they come to see her. They call Kunal her boyfriend too. While Mishty goes home, Kunal waits for Kuhu to take her to the office. He talks to Abir and asks him what is bothering him. But Abir brushes him off saying he is fine. He then asks Kunal if he is in love with Mishty but Kunal evades his questions. The ladies are suspicious and start questioning Mishty and Kunal’s relationship.
Kunal goes to the Maheshwari house where Meenakshi and Paro arrive too. Mishty is sorry for causing chaos and apologizes to Rajshri for the same. Jasmeet accuses Mishty for causing trouble in the first place because of her insistence for doing courtship which has led to everyone questioning the nature of their relationship.
Kunal wants to label their relationship and so decides on keeping the god-dhana ceremony. Meenakshi enters then and Kunal informs her about it. She refrains to tells anything to Kunal.
Meanwhile, Abir requests Mishty to refuse Kunal. He then goes on to express his feelings for her and tells her he is in love with him. And then he wakes up from his dream.
On the other hand, the ceremony of god-dhana for Kunal and Mishty is confirmed. Abir is upset.
