Kader Khan and his theatre basics

The 90s star known for his comedy role is actor Kader Khan. He was not just an actor but also screenwriter and was majorly known for his comic roles. Before stepping into the industry he was a civil engineering professor by profession at Mumbai. More importantly, he brought Dilip Kumar into the industry after spotting him in a college play.

Kader Khan made his Bollywood debut for Rajesh Khanna movie Daag, where he portrayed the role of a prosecuting attorney. Just like we mentioned above, he was a screenwriter and wrote script for the motion picture Jawaani Deewani. Over the course of his career, he has been part of more than 300 films and has been a

father, a villain in majority of his movies. He was a great actor and got the Best Actor Comedy award for the film Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri. Some of his most loved and known to all movies are Dulhe Raja, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Coolie No.1, Main Khiladi Tu Anari and many more worth the watch.

There would be no doubt in saying that Kader Khan shaped the Bollywood of his times. His work for the industry is remarkable and was a very versatile actor. While in one movie, he played the role of father especially to Govinda, in the other a villian, and in the next he was seen in a comical character. In simple words, he was an excellent actor.

He had his roots in theater and had come a long way after acquiring acting skills from the best platform of performing arts, that is theater.
