American actor and musician Alexx O’Nell will be seen in the upcoming Hotstar Special show, Aarya directed by Ram Madhvani. In the show, Alexx will be essaying a musician named Bob Wilson. The 9-episode series follows a woman who enters the heroin trade after her husband is shot.

Talking about his experience working on the series, Alexx says, “It has been a spectacular experience. Ram Madhvani has an amazing cast in the show and that is a dream team. Ram had access to the best talents. The cast is amazing, be it the leading lady Sushmita Sen or the talented actor Chandrachur Singh. The lady who plays my wife in the series is also an amazing actress. It was indeed an amazing experience.”

Interesting, indeed.

Moreover, here, Alexx intends to share a special anecdote from the series wherein he won accolades of the director for enacting a scene of Bhagwat Gita recital with much aplomb.

“It was overwhelming. He is one of the best directors in India and the world. We finished shooting. However, we did the project dubbing from our respective homes. This whole time I got a message from him after the edit and praised my acting. I was honored and speechless. During the show, my character Bob learns and changes. Bob recites Gita. I got so used to Gita that I used to recite in my sleep and still do it. I am grateful that Ram trusted me with the character and Gita, which is a big thing in India. I hope I did justice to it. I feel absolutely humbled as well as scared and nervous for audience reaction on my Bhagwat Gita sequence.”

On an end note, he mentions “Aarya is a high-quality well-executed series. This would shine because of the amazing cast. The audience should see the series for the amazing storyline, cast, and Ram has delivered a masterpiece. Talking about my character, Bob is involved in music and you will see his complete transformation from beginning to end. The audience will love a few characters and hate a few of them and this love-hate mindset will keep oscillating through the series. I would request the audience to watch Aarya that binds my music and acting. It was a dream come true role and I will be forever grateful to Ram Madhvani.

Good luck!
