In Ishara TV’s Paapnashini Ganga, Ashi Singh was offered the role of the grown-up Ganga. The actress, on the other hand, has declined to appear on the show. The actress claimed in an exclusive interview with Saas, Bahu Aur Betiyaan that she will never replace anybody on a show again since she can’t stand the hostility.
Ashi Singh, when asked about saying no to Papanasini Ganga, remarked,”Initially when I had agreed to be a part of the show, the younger Ganga was not going to be on the show for long. However, now they have increased the duration because of which I have refused the role. Because I had joined Aladdin midway, I had to face a lot of fan hatred. Now, if I join the show as the grown-up Ganga, everything will be repeated, which I don’t want.”
After Avneet Kaur left Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, Ashi Singh took her position. Avneet’s followers slammed the actress, claiming that they only wanted to watch their favourite actress Yasmin.
In Paapnashini Ganga, Aakriti Sharma (of Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala fame) plays the part of little Ganga. According to sources, the show may be cancelled soon.
When asked about Season 2 of Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, Ashi remarked, “When the first season of Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai ended, we were assured that Season 2 will follow, but we didn’t know when. We are not aware of the release date of second season yet. We don’t know if the cast will remain the same. I don’t know anything right now, but I’m hoping for a second season of Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai.”
Ashi Singh gained to stardom as Naina in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai after making her acting debut in 2015 with Secret Diaries: The Hidden Chapters.
