Sachin Khurana who started his acting career years back with the show Avinash IPS simply loves the action-packed roles that he gets to perform on!!

His stint in the successful Applause Entertainment created series Hostages, that beams presently on Hotstar has been an amazing one wherein he has got the opportunity to showcase his best in terms of action.

Sachin Khurana who has portrayed noteworthy roles in TV shows Saat Phere, Chandramukhi, Aapki Antara, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, Dil Yeh Ziddi Hai etc plays the role of SP Dutt in Hostages.

In Season 2 of Hostages, Sachin has a bigger screen presence and more action-oriented scenes.

Says Sachin, “The Hostages journey has been fabulous for me. I knew from Season 1 that I had a much bigger role in Season 2. Working with Ronit Roy, Divya Dutta, Kanwaljeet Singh, Dino Morea and all others was so wonderful.”

“Shooting with all in the cast was such a great experience. We have some wonderful memories from shoot. Once I remember, we were shooting in Delhi, and had all the fun having lunch. Dino and I worked together during our modelling days,” says Khurana.

“In Season 1, my role was subtle. But in Season 2, I am the angry cop who is all ready to finish the job. So when the second season starts, I take the position of Prithvi,” he explains.

Ask him about his web journey with Hostages, and Sachin says, “I loved it. I will say this is the start of a good journey. This is what I would love to do for the next few years. After Hostages Season 1 happened, I was doing two TV shows. Every actor will want to play challenging and more satisfying roles. That is why I became an actor.”

“I have always taken roles that have been challenging. I pick roles where I have the comfort. I love doing action and will not mind doing more of the action-packed roles on web. I started my acting journey with Avinash IPS. I would also like to play some sensitive roles too, like a mentally challenged person.”

Sachin who is presently in his hometown with his parents says, “I live alone in Mumbai. Given the scenario of the COVID outbreak, I will wait till I get something worthwhile. Otherwise, holding on and taking care of health is priority at the moment.”
