Sunil Grover is undoubtedly one of the most amazing and prolific entertainers that we have in the Hindi entertainment industry. He’s been a force to reckon with when it comes to performing comedy and be it Gutthi or Dr. Mashoor Gulati, he has made some amazing characters come alive on screen over the last few years.
However this time, Sunil is all set to do the unthinkable with Amazon Prime Video’s next ‘Tandav’ where he plays a ‘serious’ character for the first time. When asked about whether it was a conscious effort from his end to break away from his stereotypical comedian image, he said and we quote,
“Well, I did not have any plan or anything whatsoever. I did Tandav only and only because Ali asked me to do. In fact when he offered me this for the first time, I was skeptical and even asked him if he’s sure he made the right decision by casting me in this role. But he continued to show his belief on me and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I trust him totally and here we are.”
