Mahvash, known for her vibrant comedic and radio jockey persona, is stepping into a deeply intense and emotional role in ZEE5’s crime and revenge drama series, Satrangi: Badle Ka Khel. She will portray Aarti, who serves as the emotional anchor and support for Bablu Mahto. Excited to engage with her fans, Mahvash looks forward to their response to this gripping narrative centred around power struggles.

Talking about her character, Mahvash says, “Aarti has many layers. There is a loving and caring side to Aarti, which I liked the most. She can go to great lengths for her loved ones. I have not done many emotional scenes earlier. So I had to prep hard for it. But in the dubbing sessions, I felt that I had done a good job. It looked pretty convincing to me. Now, I hope audiences like it.”

Speaking about her character being the emotional anchor to Bablu, she says, “Aarti is also someone who is a part of the game and the power system, but chooses to go against it. Being a part of the family, she can see right and wrong and take her stand. Aarti has the confidence to stand for what is right. There is her family on one side, and on the other is Bablu. She is a very important part of the series who stands by Bablu in his struggle.”

Mahvash is happy that she got to be a part of the project and claims it to be a learning curve, as she learned a lot from Kumud Mishra.

Speaking about juggling both the worlds of content creation and acting in future, she says, “Content creation is my world. I love to be vocal about certain things and will use my platform to address my opinions, and to make people laugh, speak reality and have fun by forgetting grief.”

“Though I used to act a bit while creating content, acting is a totally different ball game and requires a different skill set. Having said this, I think emotions flow naturally in me, and I will want to carry that forever,” she adds.

Lastly, speaking about the Launda Naach concept, she goes on to say, “This concept of Launda Naach has not been explored much. Yes, there is romance, love, betrayal, revenge, all emotions in one project. Hence, it is called Satrangi. “
