The newly launched web series titled Gram Chikitsalay, on Amazon Prime Video is receiving rave reviews. The series is created by TVF. The story plot centres on a doctor attempting to turn around an abandoned and weary medical facility in the village. The series has an impactful cast that includes Amol Parashar in the lead role of Dr. Prabhat Sinha, along with Vinay Pathak, Garima Vikrant Singh, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Akash Makhija, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor at the helm. Garima Vikrant Singh who plays the role of Indu is happy and grateful for the role and experience.
Says Garima, “Gram Chikitsalay has been a blessing for me. It was such a beautiful character to perform. Rahul Pandey, the Director of the show chose me yet again for this series after our association with projects Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi, and Mamla Legal. I liked this role as it was filled with layers. Indu is a single mother, has to fight with people around for her survival, and has to struggle to raise her mentally unstable son. If you have seen the series, you will know that Dr. Prabhat is the one who understands what her son is going through.”
“The fear of a single mother of losing her son after losing her husband has been depicted very well. Every single mother will understand the pain of this character. Nurse Indu has been a wonderful journey that I have had. I have been in pain while doing this role. I will give credit to our Director for giving life to Indu. He made me portray the role so well. I am grateful for the trust he placed in me. He is the best,” Garima explains.
She is today being bestowed with a great response for the role. She extends her gratitude to the entire team saying, “I have lived through every subtle nuance that Indu has to bring about. I thank TVF and the entire department associated with the series. The team helped me live the life of Indu.”
As for Garima, she has been part of challenging roles across the TV and web space. A few of her notable projects include Nimki Mukhiya, Nazar, Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka, Namak Issk Ka etc.
