Actor Keshav Mehta, known for featuring in television shows like Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua, Appnapan and Bada Naam Karenge, is currently seen in Heartbeats: Pyaar Aur Armaan Season 2 on Prime Video.
Prime Video’s much-loved medical dramedy is back with its second season, taking viewers once again into the high-pressure world of Veridian Hospital. Directed by Kushal Zaveri, written by Amogh Ranadive and Garima Kunzru, and produced by Rusk Media, the 20-episode series premiered on September 9 and is streaming for free on MX Player by Prime Video and Prime Video.
Season 2 brings back Harsh Beniwal as Dr Akshat and Shivangi Joshi as Dr Saanjh, as they navigate unresolved differences and complications in their relationship. They are joined by Rohan Gurbaxani, Yuvraj Dua, Naqiah Hazi, Ankit Siwach, Aditi Sharma and Keshav Mehta in pivotal roles.
While Season 1 explored young doctors balancing ambition, love and friendship, the new season raises the stakes with a darker turn – a medical scam threatening to expose the institution where they have built their careers, making matters of the heart as complicated as matters of life and death.
Talking about his experience of shooting for the show, Keshav said, “Shooting for Heartbeats 2 has truly been a blessing and a beautiful full-circle moment for me. I come from a BDS background, and I still remember my dental college days when I would sit in class and quietly close my eyes, imagining myself living an actor’s life someday. Life has a strange way of bringing things back, and now to be a part of a Prime series where I am actually playing a doctor, it feels incredibly surreal and special.”
“What made the journey even more memorable was the bond we all shared off-screen. What you see on screen is exactly how we were off-camera as well — warm, real and connected. I became genuinely close to everyone on set. We didn’t just shoot together; we lived those months together. From lake visits and boating in Bhopal to PlayStation marathons and endless adda sessions in each other’s rooms, we made the most of our outdoor schedule. It was my first time in Bhopal, and the city completely won me over with its calm and charm. I not only got to explore a beautiful new place but also made friends I know I will cherish for a long time. Truly, for me, the heart kept beating beautifully there,” he added.
On the work front, Keshav has also appeared in the SonyLIV series 13th: Some Lessons Aren’t Taught in Classrooms, Netflix’s Greater Kalesh, the short film Rani Pink, and the web show Jab We Matched. He has also featured in T-Series music videos, including Muskurahat and Raghuvar Humare.
