Taniya Kalrra the talented actress who has earlier been seen in the web-series Your Honour is happy and satisfied with her journey with the ALTBalaji series Dark 7 White.
Dark 7 White which has a stellar cast is directed by Sattvik Mohanty.
Says Taniya, “There are times when few people are destined to combine and work towards giving life to the best product. This is the feeling I have for Dark 7 White. It has been a team that I will remember working with.”
Talking on her role, Taniya states, “Grishma is nowhere like me in real life. There is not even one point where I can say that Taniya and Grishma can meet here. Grishma is someone who is an opportunist. She can do anything to reach to her ambitions. She is very strong, polished yet mean. There is a certain aura in her.”
“All in the cast has given their best. Sumeet, Jatin, Kunj, Monica, Raj were fabulous. Everything was in sync in this project.”
“The USP of Dark 7 White if you ask me, is its very title. The title is very different. A lot of people live either in the black or white. But most of the characters in this series are all grey shades. You will never know whether they are even friends or not.”
Taniya who has had a good outing with web-series Udan Patolas (yet to launch), Your Honor. “The web platform has been a game changer for all during the pandemic. People have been at home, watching what they want to. I feel that even when the pandemic situation gets over, viewers will still be hooked to this platform. Movies are surely brilliant. But I feel that web-series has reached a phase wherein it is at par with the films. Homework is the same and character study is the same.”
“I hope that Grishma opens up a lot of roles for me. I am really proud of my journey. I will want to be part of challenging work. There is no dream role as such for me. I will want to keep experimenting and doing something different whenever I face the camera. ”
Taniya is presently shooting for a Telugu film.
