The new season of the epic love saga Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan has got the viewers hooked who have waited to find out what lies ahead for Manik and Nandini. Actors Parth Samthaan, Niti Taylor Bawa, Kishwer Merchant, Ayaaz Khan and Mehul Nissar, amongst others, are seen reviving their original characters in the show’s new season. This season will also feature Aayush Shokeen, Sagar Parekh, Jaanya Khandpur and Palash Tiwari in supporting roles, creating more intrigue and drama.
Playing the role of Manik’s father as a supporting yet quite a disciplinarian is seasoned actor Ayaz Khan who is known for his work on both television as well the big screen. The audience loved Ayaz’s character as Srikant Malhotra who is a pretty transparent and honest in his emotions and opinions. Talking about the new season Ayaz shared “It has been a wonderful journey with the cast of Kaisi Ye Yaariaan and I have only witnessed the audience’s love grow more over these years for this show. The new season only promises more surprises for the viewers and each character brings in more drama and adds to the emotional quotient.”
Adding further about his character he said “Srikant as a father has always been there for his son whether his son realises that or not. I am the kind of father who always has his son’s back, whenever he needs me.”
Talking about being a father, the actor is soon to be a real dad, expecting their first child with wife Jannat Khan
