Hansa Singh is that one individual who’s certain aging backward. She’s been working in the entertainment industry for a long time and some of the best works she has been a part of earlier are Page 3, Kartik Calling Kartik, Krrish 3, Hunterrr & many more. Hansa is presently back with a bang in her latest web show ‘Spa Secrets’. Read our conversation with her below –
Tell us about your new project?
SPA SECRETS – is a true story. It is about Kamini and Soniya & their connection to their life. It shows different layers of being a woman, starting from love, going after one’s desires & more
What is it about the role that excited you the most?
There are many things. Firstly, it’s a true story & so enacting someone whose life had shades in a short film was exciting n challenging. There are many people in the world. Everyone has their own way of living life. and claiming it. Coming to know what is actually life. Second is I wanted to give something to my fans. After the success of Hunterrr, they got something new that got me excited. Also, it was the lead role that had substance.
Was it difficult shooting for challenging scenes?
Yes, difficult and challenging as we shot post the first lockdown. The mindsets had changed. Covid has taken over the ease to work. Then doing intimate scenes at a time like this. I remember at that time, there was no vaccination too. So we were all taking precautions with masks, sanitizers, etc. So doing an intimate scene was challenging but thanks to Hunterrr, it’s been 6 years now. I have evolved as an actor. But yes, it’s always challenging to give your best shot with the minimum time taken. As we had less time. So I did my best to make it cool but at the same time ‘HOT’ for my fans.
How was the bonding with the other actors on set?
Well, I am a thorough professional. Bonding becomes easy when at heart, you wanna do your best & leave the rest. Also, trusting the process is important.
Lastly, what kind of roles are you looking forward to doing in the future?
I am very greedy for good roles as an actor. I want to do all good roles of any genre. So, I am looking for only the best challenging roles that are also substantial. I hope the directors I wish to work with give me an opportunity. I have a couple of films now and I am awaiting shoots to begin. I have one project with RSVP films and also one with Vikas Behl. I feel it’s awesome when certain casting directors give me my worth.
