Karan Wahi, who is known for TV shows such as Dill Mill Gaye, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Remix, Khatron Ke Khiladi, and Jhalak Dikhlaja, is all set to entertain the masses in the ZEE5 web series Never Kiss Your Best Friend season 2, which stars Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh in lead roles.

Excited Karan said, “It has been one and a half years that I am away from screens as we were stuck due to the pandemic. My last show was Hundred. Now, I am excited to be back with Never Kiss Your Best Friend season 2. The show looks promising. Currently, we are witnessing that slice-of-life drama and rom-com shows are being produced less. This is the space which I personally love and I feel such shows should be produced more. It is a very relatable show, that’s the reason people will love it.”

When asked which genre he would want to explore in the future, Karan mentioned, “I am not particular about any genre. Be it TV, web, or movie, if the story of the project is amazing then I will surely go ahead with it. Screen time and the impactful role both are important. Having said that, I believe more than screen space and time; it is important how impactful is your character in the storyline. The 15 minutes of a role can also stand out and give you a chance to perform as an actor if the character is strong.”

Karan revealed the on-set fun with the cast and said, “I share a great rapport with Nakuul as we are great friends. It feels good to work with people who we know. I had never met Anya earlier. We connected on the show. It was fun working with her because she is an amazing human being. We had a tight schedule but we made the most of it. The entire cast had a lot of fun while shooting.”

Talking about his bonds with close friends from school, college, and industry, he shared, “I have a lot of friends from school as well college who have been there with me and supported me always. There is no condition in friendship and this is the best thing about friendship. I met Sehban Azim in 2010 in Dill Mill Gayye show. We worked together. We have had a strong bond of friendship for a decade now. He has always been there for me.”
