Young actor Prashant Omkarnaath Rai is happy to be part of the web series Campus Beats helmed by Palki Malhotra. This series hovering around the tales of youngsters is presently streaming on Amazon miniTV.
Prashant essays a negative role in the series. His character will be mostly developed in Season 2 of Campus Beats.
Says Prashant, “I am playing a parallel lead opposite Shantanu Maheshwari. There are two teams in Season 2. One is led by Shantanu and the other is led by me. My character is highly competitive and has shades of being negative.”
“My character always tries to dominate the other group. I loved working with the team. The atmosphere on the set was pretty chilled out and we had all the fun while working. I have garnered fond memories of working with Shantanu Maheshwari. It was a pleasant experience to shoot with him. He was totally supportive in all the scenes that we had together. The best aspect about him is that he is never insecure of anyone and rather keeps motivating actors around him to give their scenes in the best frame of mind,” the actor adds.
Campus Beats is a romantic drama series which airs on Amazon miniTV. It is produced by Deepak Dhar under the banner of Banijay Asia. The series is helmed by creative genius Palki Malhotra. It has Shantanu Maheshwari, Shruti Sinha, Tanvi Gadkari, Sahaj Singh Chahal, Dhanshree Yadav, Tanya Bhushan, Teriya Magar and Harsh Dingwanii in prime roles.
