Varun Badola is one of the finest actors that the country has ever produced. His acting acumen has entertained masses for years now.
Varun is back with a bang playing a cop in SonyLIV series Your Honor (produced by Applause Entertainment).
He says, “I play a cop who is selfless and in the scheme of things is asked to move out of the way. It’s a pretty interesting character.”
Varun says that when he auditioned for the role, he weighed almost 92 kilos.
“Well, I needed to look a lot fitter for my part. Thankfully, I had some time before the cameras would roll, hence managed to lose weight.”
Comparing TV and web as performing platforms, Varun adds, “TV needs a lot of patience. It is, by all means, an important medium of entertainment. Web, on the other hand, allows you more freedom and is more evolved at the scripting level.”
