Anant V Joshi has been having a whale of a time on the big screen and OTT space with projects 12th Fail, Kathal, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, Virgin Bhasskar, etc. His recent portrayal of the highly resourceful character of Vishwas Pandey in the court of the Patparganj District Court in the Netflix series Maamla Legal Hai has given viewers the right measure of humour, charm and innocence on the screen. With Maamla Legal Hai 2 streaming on Netflix, Anant’s character goes through a whole new trajectory in the new season. Maamla Legal Hai is directed by Rahul Pandey and co-written by Saurabh Khanna and Kunal Aneja.

The actor gets into an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, where he says, “Vishwas Pandey is at his best again in Season 2, balancing people and their moods as always. This time, his emotions also come into play.”

Anant and Ravi Kishan’s onscreen rapport in the series has been commendable. With Tyagiji becoming a judge this time around, Anant talks about the new dimensional arc created between them. “Vishwas used to be very straightforward in his interactions earlier with Tyagiji. But he is now a judge. Having said this, the best aspect about Vishwas Pandey is that he always has his way and knows how to interact. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics in the court change with Tyagiji becoming a judge.”

I pray that Maamla Legal Hai becomes 'The Office' of India: Anant V Joshi 993305

Speaking highly about the cast of the series, Anant states, “This is one team that I genuinely love the most. There are no other emotions other than admiring each other as talents. There is a very nice camaraderie that we share. Our scenes always complement each other.”

Anant’s only expectation now is that Maamla Legal Hai should have yet another season, and they should get a chance to work again on the classic series. Talking further about his thoughts, he says, “Maamla Legal Hai is a well-shot and conceptualised show. I pray that Maamla Legal Hai becomes The Office of India. The series has the meat in it to create that kind of a vast Universe, with its high level of realism, it has in its writing and characterisations. I want this series to fill the void in the Indian OTT space by being a top-notch comedy series.”

All the very best!!
