Cyrus Sahukar is one of the most popular and talented artists of the Hindi entertainment industry. After having started as a VJ and anchor for some special platforms, he also simultaneously proved his acting mettle and the biggest example of that was the movie ‘Aisha’ in 2010 which also starred actors like Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in lead roles.

Apart from that, some of the other projects where he managed to show his potential were Sab TV’s ‘Sab Khelo Sab Jeeto’, Mind The Malhotras, Love Breakups Zindagi and more. He is all set to be a part of Sony LIV’s upcoming project ‘Potluck’ which is all about bringing the family together. During the conversation, when we asked Cyrus about whether him trying to simultaneously manage his acting and anchoring work affected his acting potential, he was quoted as saying,

“Well, I am someone who isn’t really comfortable with not working for a very long time. So, for me, it is always about being active and doing new things. As actors, they have to sometimes be used to months of no work. Being an outsider from Delhi who also has to think of rent and other expenses while living in Mumbai, I didn’t have that luxury. So yes, whatever quality work which I felt I got, I did it. So yes, maybe I wasn’t able to micromanage anchoring and acting together in the best way and fit them all in my schedule. Otherwise yes, maybe a lot more films as an actor would have happened.”
