Priyal Gor, whose SAB TV show Ichhapyaari Naagin is scheduled to wrap up in July, is taking the off air news in her stride.
“We always had an inkling that things were going South post the time slot change (was shunted to 7.30) yet as actors we always keep positive hope that our show will go on and on. Eventually we need to accept for we are not the creators, our job is to enact the scripts given to us to the best of our abilities.”
Going on she says, “Overall, I had a blast on the set, the entire unit became a family. Honestly, we daily artists spend more time on set, come back home only to go to sleep. We had lots of fun moment including small fights, I will cherish them all. I will miss the entire set up. But alas, life must go on.”
Looking ahead Priyal is open to work which reflects her happy go lucky personality. Coming to the new age digital series mushrooming Priyal is not very gung-ho. “There is an over kill of web series. If you have A grade stuff being made sadly a lot of C and D class shows are also being churned out. I will not do one just for the sake of doing. It has to appeal me. Money is not the sole criteria, ultimately my profile matters.”
Priyal is also ready to go down the bold route. “If a small filmmaker asks me to do a kissing scene or wear a bikini, I will say no, but if done by a known filmmaker, I will say yes. I am ready to come out of my comfort zone but it has be worthwhile. I will definitely not strip for a web product. ”
