India has always been about dance, drama, and music. We are the land of Bollywood, after all. Perhaps this is the reason why TikTok’s 15 seconds of screen time and possible fame continues attracting sign-ups every single minute. Created by a Chinese company, TikTok has even won over Musically’s Western audience as well. In India alone, there are twenty million active users as of June 2019.

Out of these twenty million, there are those TikTokers (as they have branded themselves) who are so good at lip syncing, grooving to the music, and recreating iconic scenes from Indian films, that they have gathered a massive fan base on the app itself. In fact, this fan base is even surpassing TikTok’s boundaries and translating to more fans on social media platforms.

The first TikToker who has almost been crowned the TikTok queen is Jannat Zubair Rahmani. This small screen and film actress has an even bigger fan base with 13.7 million subscribers on TikTok and 7.3 million followers on Instagram. The several TV series that she has been a part of as a child artiste (Phulwa, Dil Mil Gaye, Matti ki Bano, Maharana Pratap, et al) prove that she is neither lacking in style nor in talent. We have also seen Jannat’s bratty side as Shraddha Kapoor’s younger sister in Luv Ka The End.
