Karan Oberoi and Sudhanshu Pandey’s latest collaboration on the occasion of Mahashivratri 2026 is a powerful rendition, a devotional song dedicated to Lord Shiva. The music video, under the record label Crooner Records, which is a part of the album Groove With God, has been well-received with appreciations flooding in. The song is written by Karan Oberoi, with him composing the music. The song is sung by Sudhanshu Pandey and Karan Oberoi, with both of them featuring in the video.

Talking about the video, Creator Karan Oberoi talks to IWMBuzz.com, “Sudhanshu is a huge devotee of Lord Shiva. I have this album concept called Groove with God, where we want to put all the religious songs together for the young generation, so that they sing to the Lord.”

On choosing Sudhanshu as the singer, he says, “This song is very correct for Sudhanshu’s voice, plus, he is a very big devotee of Lord Shiva.”

Talking about the video, Karan states, “I usually write my music. Under Groove With God, the idea is that we have songs in such a way that people dance to them and also pray to the Lord. I wanted to create a video with a larger landscape, capturing the essence of Lord Shiva in the right way. I have used a lot of AI, and Sudhanshu and I feature in it.”

Speaking about his long-standing association with Sudhanshu, he says, “We both go back a long way. We knew each other as models before we started acting. We have always loved each other as brothers. Plus, I wanted to do something with Sudhanshu. Every time we have come together, there has been magic that has happened. A lot of people have been writing to us asking about our collaboration. So here we go!”

On the other songs in the album, Karan says, “We are planning to do a lot more songs. There are 6 songs in Groove With God. We will come up with songs depicting Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, etc. This particular video has all the various assets of Lord Shiva, which is what we want to celebrate. We also wanted the video to be cinematic.”

On the next song, he gives a hint saying, “The next is around Ramnavami, of Lord Ram. We have one album coming from Band of Boys, too.”

Lastly, he is thankful for all the love and positive responses pouring in for the video. “It’s just been one day for the video. All the celebrities from TV to movies, to singers, everyone has loved it. It is very gratifying to know that the video has landed well with the audience as well as with our fraternity. Our fraternity is our barometer, so it feels good.”
