I would like to work more in the web space: Shravan Reddy

Krishnadasi fame Shravan Reddy is all set to debut on the web space with MX player next original web series ‘Thinkistan – Idea Jiska, India Uska’

Set in the 1990s, the series features performers like Naveen Kasturia, Mandira Bedi, Satyadeep Misra and Vasuki in pivotal roles and is a true depiction of the fast-paced lives of the ad world that showcases harsh realities of everything you thought you knew about the domain.

Season 1 of the 11 episodic series follows the graphs of two contrasting characters slugging it out in this seductive, mad world of advertising. Amit (essayed by Naveen Kasturia) is a Hindi speaking junior copywriter who comes from Bhopal while English trainee copywriter Hema (Played by Shravan Reddy) is a suave, well-read metropolitan.

Sharing about the series, he says, “I am very excited because this is my debut in the web. I believe it has turned out to be very good so I hope the audience like it. The basic plotline is about two friends. It is based in the 90s. It is a period contemporary hence you will see the feel and look of that era.”

Ask the difference between TV and web, he adds, “I have explored TV so there it was a different way of narrating the story. While Web is completely different. Thinkistan has a story which I felt very relatable. It is made well and it will be loved by the audience. It is worth watching.”

Shravan says he wants to explore more web content. “I have never thought about a platform as a best one. It is about each one’s comfort level. I feel on TV, it becomes monotonous after a while, otherwise, TV is also equally good and fulfilling in its own way. Given a chance, I would like to explore more web.”
