Who could have come up with the idea that the Devil would leave his position as the ruler of Hell and open a nightclub in Los Angeles before working as a consultant for the police? The concept of Lucifer, which was inspired by the same-named D.C. Comics characters are incredibly innovative.

The T.V. version, however, has taken on a life of its own, and thanks to Netflix’s decision to renew the series, Lucifer was able to escape the threat of a premature death thanks to his charisma. Here are quotes that highlight the Devil’s nasty side in case you’re curious about what makes him who he is on the show.

“Oh my God!” it’s technically “Oh my Lucifer!”

Lucifer had established his value and atoned for his sins in the series’ very last episode. The former ruler of Hell, who had fallen in love, gives his life to save Chloe. His siblings agree that he should be God because of the sacrifice he made out of love to prove his greatness.

“What’s The Point Of Extorting And Murdering If You Don’t Get To Do What You Desire?”

For the majority of the show, Lucifer focused on the characters’ actual desires. He enjoyed using his abilities to delve deeply into people’s good or evil intentions. In episode 4 of the show, Lucifer and Chloe visit a suspect known for his nefarious activities. They discover him at a club playing Bocce. Chloe finds it shocking that a criminal would be discovered at a posh club. Then Lucifer argues that even if their convicts commit horrific crimes, they are still free to do as they like. In the midst of all the illicit action, there must be some downtime to unwind and enjoy a fun game.

“If You Finish That Sentence, I Will Punch You In Your ‘Mysterious Ways’.”

The fifth season of the program was a true test for Lucifer. Amenadiel is sent to serve as the warden of Hell for a spell. Lucifer is shocked when God tells Amenadiel that he has done his term after just one night in Hell.

“Careful. Too Much Tequila Can Bring The Devil Out Of Anyone”

Certainly, Lucifer enjoys making jokes about his true identity as the Devil. Additionally, he has witnessed his fair share of accidents caused by patrons at Lux who consume too much booze. It’s a running joke that some varieties of hard liquor have the worst effects on consumers. In a clever joke, Lucifer suggests that drinking too much tequila might really bring out the worst in people. Anybody can act like Lucifer, nicknamed the Devil, after a few too many drinks, whether it’s boiling rage or self-righteousness.

“Vatican Investigator. Sounds Like A Soon-To-Be Canceled Tv Show”

Chloe receives the revelation of Lucifer, and it isn’t a good one. Chloe travels to Rome on vacation in season 4 in quest of somebody who can assist her and meets Father Kinley. Kinley visits Lucifer in episode three. Even if the Vatican is looking into his claims, Lucifer continues to be his absurd self. As a Vatican investigator, Kinley identified himself. Lucifer quips that it sounds like a television program that will be canceled.
