This season, designers appear to have stepped up their game by adding influencers and artists to their bridal couture collections. Anita Dongre, an Indian fashion designer, stunned us by choosing Prajakta Koli, a.k.a. MostlySane, as the muse for her Bridal Couture 2021 collection. Manish Malhotra had previously included Sakshi Sindwani in his inclusive line ‘Nooraniyat.’

Anita Dongre said in YouTube,

Prajakta, as the Anita Dongre bride, was released on September 11, 2021. She is a “modern Indian woman” who understands what she wants. She is a free-spirited bride who does not adhere to any rules and acts as she pleases. She doesn’t follow anyone’s rules; she sets her own. She needs her lehenga to be “light as air” and have “pockets” as an intelligent bride! Most importantly, she stays true to herself and does not alter her notion of fun simply because the wedding is approaching.
