Vidya Malavade is one actress for whom age is just a number. We have seen her work earlier in projects like Chak de India, 1920: Evil Returns, Inside Edge, Kidnap, and many more and now she’s back with a bang with the character of Zeenat from Netflix’s latest offering Mismatched.
Vidya Malavade plays the role of Zeenat who is a widow from Lucknow and is considerably older than her classmates. But she’s sweet and kind enough to take an initiative and make an effort to befriend even the most dour of the teenagers. When asked about whether she got any interesting memory from college, she said and we quote,
“Oh yes and in plenty. I had a sense of nostalgia going in while doing Mismatched. For me, age is just a number and I feel one can do anything at any age if the will and determination is there. The audience have taken to Zeenat’s character quite well and I am glad about it.
