Shivam Agarwal who plays a central role in Rajan Shahi’s web-series talks about his experience being part of it.

Shivam Agarwal excited with the overwhelming response of web-series Love, Sex aur Viagra 6993

Youngster Shivam Agarwal is basking in the success of his web-series, Love, Sex aur Viagra the maiden web-series of ace show maker Rajan Shahi’s newly formed banner, First Kut.

For Shivam, it was a grand gala home-coming when he was offered this role by Rajan Shahi’s team!!

We say home-coming as the young lad had earlier worked for Director’s Kut’s long-running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He played Alok Nath’s grand son in the show.

Says Shivam, “The best part was that I was again working with Rajan Sir and also with our Yeh Rishta director, Rishi Mundial Sir. The icing on the cake was I got to shoot for the web-series on the same set of Yeh Rishta (smiles).”

Shivam essays the role of DJ Messy, the central character who is actually instrumental in creating all the mess in the web-series.

Talking about his role, the actor states, “DJ Messy is very full of life and a naughty character. In real life, I am also full of life, but I am not a despo like what Messy is. My role in Yeh Rishta was such a contrast to what I played in the web-series. And that’s what interested me. It was fun getting back to shoot with the same team and on the same set. Rishi Sir is a genius and when he called me and offered this role, I had to take it up. I immediately accepted it. I had complete faith in Rajan Sir and Rishiji, and the result is before you all The response that Love, Sex aur Vaigra has received after its very first episode is awesome. It feels great to be part of the series.”

Talking about the adult-based concept, Shivam explains, “See, the viewers of TV and digital spaces are different. Mostly, the youngsters watch such programs on the digital medium. Though my parents were a bit upset about the below-the belt theme, they really liked my performance. The same applies to the elder generation who might find the theme a bit abusive. But trust me, this is what happens in real too. When three boys stay together, in reality they do talk and behave like this.”

On the response he has garnered for the role, Shivam in an ecstatic way states, “The response has been huge. My performance has been liked. And Rajan Sir is also happy with the response that the web-series has got. He liked my performance too.”

Shivam who is part of Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage wherein he plays Ananya Khare’s son is on the lookout for good roles on TV. “I like to play the character roles. Let us see how things shape up. As of now, I am enjoying living in the present, that is the success of the web-series.”

Wish you all the best, Shivam!!
