Enchanting beauty Amyra Dastur, who has entered the web world with Bindass’ The Trip season two, says in no time web will rule over every medium of entertainment.

“I truly believe that within three years, web will be the only platform of entertainment. TV shows and movies will be watched on digital platforms. Now, when I reach home after my work, I put on TV but switch it to Netflix, Amazon or Hotstar. Web is taking over and 2018 is just a glimpse of the same,” shares the lovely actress.

Talking about the aspects that interest her in web, she says, “The best part is that it is not censored. Directors and actors, all get the freedom and liberty to work according to their conditions. It is not limiting to goody-goody stuff but also allows you to showcase the reality.”

Amyra says she is happy to be featuring in second season of The Trip.

“I wanted to do a web series for a while and I am so glad to start with The Trip 2. I was worried about the chemistry with the girls. However, when I saw the scenes it has come out really well. It was fun shooting will all the crackpots in this season (smiles). There is a preconceive notion that when there are too many actresses shooting together, there are always cat fights. However, it is bullshit. We all bonded so well. We went for a trip together and had lot of fun. I hang out with my co-stars Shweta Tripathi, Mallika Dua and Sapna Pabbi. We all come from different backgrounds, so we had nothing in common, hence there is no point of competition and fight. We have a Whatsapp group too where we chat every day.”

The actress feels that many girls will relate to her character. “My character is very relatable and girls will connect to it. It will also break the stereotypical image of a girl and see an independent, carefree girl, who lives for herself. Audience should watch this season as I am a new addition to it. It is a quirky and fun tale which will keep viewers glued to their screens.

Good luck, Amyra!
